It's primal, exotic, bold, exciting, energizing, mesmerizing, and natural. It's an experience within the body that we have all attempted to communicate to another at some point. The fewer the words the better, because words fall short. It's a feeling - one that we all chase but have decided is not appropriate in our professional lives. (I won't waste time attempting to label it.) It is a pleasurable feeling that leaves us vulnerable to More pleasure. It's daring. It's a feeling that feeds itself. That is why we fear it. If everyone lived in this pleasurable experience responsibility might fall to the wayside. We take that risk.
This is a fear-free zone. We have bold opinions and we share them. We embrace the radical notion that beauty is pure, natural, and unfiltered. Our vision is body positive, happy, healthy, inspirational, bold, energizing, and natural.
I launched this site because I was not happy with the status quo. From the models to the products to the advice of popular sites and people who I am supposed to believe have the answers. They don't. Not for me. I was uninspired. However, more concerning are the ways that dissatisfaction manifests in women, particularly body dissatisfaction. I have no subscriptions because I can't bear to open one more magazine or blog trying to sell me on a product that doesn't meet my needs. And I can do without a twenty-something year old blogger trying to convince me that going sans bra, casual sex, or plastic surgery is the height of feminism.
We at BeautifulBumBum.com advocate intelligent consumerism. We don't need anyone preaching a 'conform to our beliefs or get out' mentality. That brands, blogs, and personalities would use their power to seek to improperly influence women to believe that the female body is inferior to sell products is unconscionable, but it is a standard practice today. We don't want to be just another blog or site. We want to edify and nourish. I am committed to innovating a sector that has always left me to come up with my own solutions. Today, we launch a beauty blog, tomorrow a beauty campaign.
How we are different
Our core values are ethics, experience, customer focus, leadership, and professionalism - not sales. We're not another content-pusher or pay-to-play scheme. We're transparent, and that enables you to make educated choices about how and if you engage with us. We are professionals with business experience who are creating an experience for those who want something more than hype.
And we're just getting started. But, I'll give you a preview: the women I am engaging to grow, manage, and breathe life into this site are the women that we all aspire to be. (And you are going to love what we are going to do with the men - and for them - It will be our pleasure to introduce you.)
