and where we are headed is far worse than any place that we've been before

Sometimes you have to revisit the past to move forward

I have to win a lawsuit. So, I haven't been able to fully commit my time to growing my business in the way that I have normally dedicated myself to tasks. I came across this video from 2015, while preparing to make a statement on the vision and goals that I have set for 2018. In looking back, I'm not where I used to be but not where I should be.

I'll leave you with this: stay beautiful in the face of it all.
I know that's a big ask from me to you. It's the same pep talk I give myself daily.
Campus assault, like many other issues, is preventable.
It's on us to challenge unjust practices. No one will do it for us. I've looked.

Only a power and money hungry SOB would pretend such problem are more complex than they truly are. (The bad news is that we're surrounded by too many power and money hungry SOBs.)

And now I have to go slay dragons and win a lawsuit. (Clearly the 'good' advocates of equality and justice currently in power don't care too much, because we're still having this discussion today.)

The solution? A change in power.
